Job summary

UNSW, through the ARC Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science and Innovation (ARC COE-CSI), invites applications for a Project Officer/Senior Project Officer to support centre operations, research administration and strategic activities in Kensington, Sydney. The role spans project lifecycle coordination, communications and stakeholder engagement.

The appointment is a fixed-term 12-month contract with possibility of extension, at Level 6/7 salaries, with 17% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence.
• Advanced communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading for official communications.
• Creative content development for digital marketing and campaigns.
• Experience in event/project coordination and managing project lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationship management.
• Excellent organisational and time management with ability to prioritise.
• Proficient in MS Office, web content management, analytics and reporting tools; basic graphic design and video editing.

Responsibilities

• Provide project, research administration and operational support across the Centre.
• Coordinate delivery of research, reporting and strategic activities.
• Assist in events, campaigns and communications across partners.
• Support budget tracking, procurement and reporting requirements.
