SA Health, through Preventive Health SA, is seeking a Senior Project Officer for Priority Populations in Adelaide CBD. This part-time position (0.7 FTE) supports planning, implementation and evaluation of health equity initiatives and partnerships with government, NGOs and local councils.

• Salary: $105,747 to $111,854 (Pro-Rata) – ASO6 – Part Time (0.7 FTE) / Term Contract up to 8 September 2027

Overview:

• Reporting to the Manager, Priority Populations, the Senior Project Officer will contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategies, projects and initiatives for Preventive Health SA that align with the Preventive Health SA Act 2024 and further the strategic agenda of the agency.
• This role will liaise and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including other staff within Preventive Health SA, State Government agencies, non-government organisations and local government.
• The Senior Project Officer, Priority Populations will provide advice and contribute to the development of evidence initiatives designed to promote health equity for population groups experiencing greater health inequities, with a particular focus on partnerships with relevant stakeholders.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

• A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
