Job summary

The Senior Project Officer in Intergovernmental Relations at Victorian Department of Health will lead the Nationally Funded Centres Secretariat transition, managing budgets, payments and receipts across states and territories, and providing evidence-based advice to support decision-making.

Works with department staff and Commonwealth/state counterparts, develops Cabinet material and briefing papers, and contributes to national health funding arrangements and cross-jurisdictional funding matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and monitor detailed project plans and budgets.
• Knowledge of health funding and government reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgets, payments and receipts for the Nationally Funded Centres Secretariat across states and territories.
• Draft Cabinet and Secretary briefings, meeting papers, agendas and reports.
• Develop advice for internal and external stakeholders to inform decision making at project and portfolio levels.
• Support analysis and coordination of national health funding arrangements.
