• Part time (0.4FTE, with possibility to increase to 0.6FTE in 2027) fixed term three years

• HEO 7 Base Salary $117,133 - $127,610 p.a. pro rata + 17% superannuation

As the Senior Project Officer, you will work closely with Professor Liza Lim AM and a network of leading artists and researchers, you will play a central role in delivering projects, events, and partnerships that engage with urgent climate and social issues. Your key responsibilities will be to:

• coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects, helping to deliver a world-leading research program with impact across the arts, research, and broader community
• lead the planning and delivery of conferences, workshops, and events across Australia and internationally
• shape and maintain the program's digital presence, ensuring website content remains current, engaging, and accessible
• drive project outcomes by tracking progress, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and delivery
• foster productive partnerships with researchers, artists, industry collaborators, and other stakeholders to support program success
• manage project budgets and financial processes, ensuring the effective use of resources and smooth program delivery.

About you

• Demonstrated experience in project and program coordination, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment
• Strong event planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with experience coordinating events, workshops, conferences, or related activities
• Sound financial administration skills, including budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and reporting
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using a range of digital systems and platforms
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
• Experience within a university, research, arts, music, or environmental context would be advantageous.
