Job summary

Lime Recruitment is partnering with a Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced AO6 Senior Project Officer. Based in Brisbane CBD with hybrid working, you will lead projects to strengthen organisational preparedness and stakeholder engagement across Queensland.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate initiatives, collaborating with managers and subject-matter experts to define requirements, schedules and success measures. Travel for events is reimbursed per SOA provisions.

Qualifications

• End-to-end project planning, delivery and reporting experience.
• Experience designing education, engagement, or behaviour-change initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and event management capabilities.
• Analytical, research and risk management skills.
• Willingness to travel for events; travel reimbursed per SOA provisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of projects, ensuring objectives, timelines and outcomes are achieved.
• Collaborate with managers, subject matter experts and stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities and success measures.
• Develop, manage and adjust project schedules, resources and deliverables to meet agreed standards and timeframes.
• Coordinate project communications, including stakeholder engagement, reporting, presentations, events and advocacy activities.
• Monitor project risks and issues, maintain project registers and stakeholder records, and elevate emerging concerns as required.
• Undertake research and analysis to inform project planning and continuous improvement, while ensuring robust document management, record-keeping and compliance with project management methodologies

Working within a Strategy and Engagement team, you will lead key projects focused on strengthening organisational preparedness, building stakeholder capability, and supporting engagement initiatives across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of projects, ensuring objectives, timelines and outcomes are achieved.
• Collaborate with managers, subject matter experts and stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities and success measures.
• Develop, manage and adjust project schedules, resources and deliverables to meet agreed standards and timeframes.
• Coordinate project communications, including stakeholder engagement, reporting, presentations, events and advocacy activities.
• Monitor project risks and issues, maintain project registers and stakeholder records, and elevate emerging concerns as required.

About You:

• Strong background in end-to-end project planning, delivery, and reporting. Engagement & reporting.
