Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead highly complex, large-scale warehouse automation and MHS projects. Based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, you will own the project lifecycle from contract through commissioning for major clients across NSW, VIC and QLD.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, drive schedules, budgets and procurement, and partner with customers to ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex engineering, automation, or MHS projects.
• Background in MHS, warehouse automation, FMCG, high-speed packaging, or integrated engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of system layouts, design intent, and integration complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the project delivery phase from contract review to final handover.
• Develop and manage integrated project schedules with a focus on critical path.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasting, and commercial risks.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders on scope and execution.
• Drive procurement and supplier commitments to meet project goals.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
• Travel to customer sites locally and interstate as required.
