Job summary

Amida Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi‑sector infrastructure projects from initiation to handover. You will drive tendering, design coordination, and on‑site delivery for projects ranging from $5m to $20m+, with a focus on transport and water sectors.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, contracts and design management, OHS, programming, and leadership of consultants and subcontractors, with close collaboration to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Minimum 7 years+ experience delivering projects start-to-finish.
• Proven leadership ability to build and motivate teams.
• Experience delivering greenfield projects.
• Knowledge of local council/regulatory requirements.
• Strong planning and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Construction Safety Induction (white) card.

Responsibilities

• Tendering and work winning.

• Ensure construction programmes are followed & deliver on project quality to programme.
• Identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required.

• Management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects.
• Design management.
• Manage subcontractors on site.
• Manage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the project.
• Produce progress reports.
• Deliver and manage client expectations.
