We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology transformation initiatives across business and IT environments, you will be responsible for delivering projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring outcomes are aligned with strategic objectives, business requirements, budget, timelines, governance and risk appetite. This role requires strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, combined with sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors and senior business stakeholders. This will be a full time, 12-month fixed term contract position based in our Sydney CBD office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 2 days per week).
This is not a hands-on engineering or Kubernetes administration role. The Project Manager must, however, demonstrate sufficient technical depth to critically engage with architects and engineering teams, understand solution design, anticipate delivery dependencies and challenge technical risks, assumptions and decisions. Strong knowledge of contemporary enterprise technology environments is required, including: Cloud platforms, containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration. Microservices, APIs and enterprise integration patterns. CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and environment management. Infrastructure, networking, security and identity management. Databases, data integration and enterprise application platforms. Jira and Confluence.
