Job summary

McMahon Services in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex multidisciplinary turnkey projects from concept to completion. You will work with engineering, commercial and operations teams to deliver outcomes for Defence, mining, water and infrastructure sectors.

You will manage planning, procurement, programming and performance, while mentoring project teams and building lasting client relationships, ensuring safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering complex construction or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Current White Card, Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects from award through to completion.
• Manage project planning, procurement, programming and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
• Identify business development opportunities and support tender activities.
• Manage contracts, variations, forecasting and project reporting.
• Champion Safety Certainty 2.0 while driving quality, environmental and compliance outcomes.
