Job summary

Turner & Townsend Adelaide is seeking a technically strong Senior Project Manager to join our Building/Technical Services team. This role suits someone with 5–10 years of experience delivering complex MEP projects and is ready to join a global, tier-one project management consultancy.

You will lead delivery of technical building services, manage live environments, and help grow our MEP services across client portfolios while prioritising safety, quality and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex MEP / building services projects.
• Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
• Strong technical capability and understanding of building systems.
• Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technical building services projects with emphasis on MEP systems.
• Manage design and delivery of MEP projects in live environments.
• Develop and grow Turner & Townsend's technical services offering.
• Plan and oversee works with safety, quality and performance focus.
• Interface with clients, consultants and contractors across project stages.
• Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
• Contribute to internal processes, financial management and QA.

Job Description

Our Adelaide office is looking for a technically strong Senior Project Manager to join our Building/Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career (5–10 years’ experience) who has delivered complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects and is ready to take the next step—joining a global, tier‑one project management consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technical building services projects, with a strong emphasis on mechanical/electrical and controls systems.
• Manage the design and delivery of MEP projects in live, operational environments.
• Develop and grow Turner & Townsend’s technical services offering across client portfolios.
• Plan and oversee works with a focus on safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
• Establish and manage project governance, reporting, and change control processes.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
• Support procurement activities and tender evaluations.
• Contribute to internal processes, financial management, and quality assurance.
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
• Strong stakeholder management, understanding client key requirements and communicating/reporting accordingly.
• Able to managefull cycle project delivery of technical building services projects (ie, HVAC, Electrification, Chillers, Electrical/Mechanical etc) from the feasibility to delivery and handover.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management, or relevant industry experience in building services and construction (Builder, Contract administration, Electrical, HVAC, Security, BMS, Fire, Hydraulic, etc).
• Minimum of 5years of experience in project managementwho can deliver projects autonomously
• Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
• Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
• Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
