Balance Recruitment is assisting a client in New South Wales to hire a Senior Project Manager based in Sydney Olympic Park. The role leads two major data projects, implementing a Unified Data Management Framework and driving adoption across the organisation.

The position offers a hybrid arrangement with at least three days onsite, on a 6-month contract, with a daily rate up to AUD 1,100. Ideal for leaders experienced in data, governance, and complex stakeholder environments.

Our client, a much loved and highly regarded organisaion that spans New South Wales, is seeking a Senior Project Manager. Based in Sydney Olympic Park, this role requires an experienced professional to lead two pivotal data projects that shape the organisation's future operational capabilities.

The successful candidate will spearhead the refinement and implementation of a Unified Data Management Framework, establishing governance structures and driving enterprise-wide adoption to enhance data maturity. They will then also look to leverage the new data frameworkto ensure aligning resource is well aligned risk & needs, through advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of three days onsite, running on a 6 month contract. It is ideal for a project manager passionate about data, adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments, and experienced in bridging business requirements with technical delivery teams.

• Passionate about data with strategic thinking and practical execution capabilities.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance, master data management, and data strategy.
• Understanding of modern data platforms, reporting tools, and information management principles.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise architects and solution design teams.
• Background in government, or large operational organisations is a plus.
