Job summary

COMO Engineers Pty Ltd in West Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering and construction projects. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, procurement, safety and quality outcomes, with travel to project sites as required.

The role reports to the Manager of Projects and requires a proactive leader with 5–10 years contractor-side delivery experience across mining, resources or infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of contractor-side project delivery experience.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Experience delivering projects in resources, mining or infrastructure sectors across the full lifecycle.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from initiation to close-out, developing and maintaining project execution plans, schedules and deliverables.
• Manage tendering, contract award, procurement and execution of equipment and subcontractor packages.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, vendors and subcontractors; lead progress meetings and provide reporting.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, fabrication, logistics, commissioning and site operations to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking and cash flow; review purchase orders and change control.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, mentor junior staff and identify training opportunities.
• Ensure quality, health, safety and environmental requirements are met on-site and in office; conduct audits and inspections.
• Identify and manage project risks and drive continuous improvement.
