Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead clinical health and aged care projects in Brisbane. This hands-on, client-facing role requires strong design, procurement and delivery capabilities, with responsibility for end-to-end project delivery and team leadership.

You will manage design consultants, procurement strategies and contractor selection, while overseeing budgets, risk and reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years' project management experience, ideally in a client-side consultancy environment.
• Strong clinical health sector experience essential, aged care experience highly regarded.
• Proven end-to-end delivery on complex projects.
• Strong technical capability across design, procurement and delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of health and aged care projects from feasibility to handover.

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, independent project management consultancy with a national presence and a long track record of delivering projects for private and public sector clients. Their work spans health, aged care, education, commercial, residential, retail, infrastructure and public buildings.

Following continued growth in their Brisbane health and aged care portfolio, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery on a range of complex clinical projects, alongside work in other sectors.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, acting as the trusted adviser to clients and leading consultant and contractor teams. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role suited to someone who brings strong technical capability across design, procurement and delivery, and who enjoys leading and developing project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of health and aged care projects, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction and handover.
• Manage design consultant teams, driving technical quality, coordination and compliance, particularly within clinical and operational environments.
• Develop and manage procurement strategies, tender processes and contractor selection.
• Administer head contracts, including Superintendent or Superintendent's Representative duties where required.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, programme and risk, with clear and timely reporting to clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term, trusted relationships.
• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including clinical end users, authorities, consultants and contractors.
• Lead, mentor and support project teams, including Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Contribute to projects across other sectors as the Brisbane pipeline continues to evolve.

About You

• 10 to 15 years'years' project management experience, ideally within a client-side consultancy environment.
• Strong clinical health sector experience is essential, with aged care experience highly regarded, along with exposure to other sectors.
• A proven track record of end-to-end project delivery on complex projects.
• Strong technical capability across design, procurement and delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead client conversations.
• Demonstrated project team leadership and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
• Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, architecture, engineering or a related discipline.
