Senior Project Manager – Adelaide

Join the Insight team as a Senior Project Manager for a hybrid role: 2 days in the office or client site and 3 days working from home (or as agreed with your manager).

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage and oversee the operations and administration of assigned projects and programs, delivering Insight Consulting Services to clients. You will demonstrate leadership, initiative, and problem‑solving skills to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visible, accountable leader who oversees the successful delivery of projects and programs for Insight clients.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to drive best practices, standards, and methodology.
  • Utilize the change management process to maintain profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead projects relative to milestone completion while managing resources and financial budgets.
  • Develop and implement complete project schedules to meet required dates.
  • Monitor and maintain client and internal project executive satisfaction through weekly or monthly status meetings.
  • Assist Sales in business development activities to grow Insight business.
  • Participate in authoring Statements of Work (SOWs) and respond to RFPs as necessary.
  • Present Insight’s Project Management and service capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Be AmbITious: continually seek opportunities for upskilling, promotion, and career growth.
Required Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of project management experience, including IT services, IT operations, or professional services.
  • Demonstrated delivery of complex Microsoft implementation projects (Data & AI, Cloud Platform, Cloud Apps, Integration, BizApps) on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Experience generating and managing detailed project plans.
  • Ability to manage technical resources across multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication at C‑level.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with sales staff.
  • Experience running project update meetings with technical and non‑technical attendees.
  • Leadership qualities that motivate project teams to successful conclusions.
  • Proven success driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Analytical skills for reviewing business or professional journals and technical procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, SharePoint Portal.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP and/or PRINCE2.
  • Knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA and DevOps.
  • Baseline Clearance or NV1 is highly desired.
