Job summary

Map Talent is partnering with a major Australian insurer on a large-scale transformation programme in Sydney CBD. They need an Insurance Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery across a critical stream of work (claims, policy, underwriting or core platform).

You'll manage multi-squad and vendor delivery, own plan, budget and risks, and keep executives informed and calm. If you've delivered inside insurance or financial services and are available in coming weeks, let's talk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project delivery experience with solid insurance domain
• Experience on large-scale programmes in general insurance or life
• Comfortable with both waterfall and agile methodologies
• Strong focus on financials, dependencies, and governance
• Vendor management that holds vendors to account
• Available to start within the next few weeks

MAP is partnering with a major Australian insurer on a large scale transformation programme. They need a Project Manager who has lived and breathed insurance delivery. Not someone who has read about it.

The gig

12 month initial contract with extensions expected. Sydney CBD. Hybrid.

You'll own end to end delivery across a critical stream of work. Claims, policy, underwriting or core platform. Big stakeholders. Tight timelines.

What we need

• 7 plus years project delivery, with solid insurance experience
