Mack Civil is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead major civil infrastructure projects in Sydney, from early planning through delivery. You’ll manage programs, budgets, and resources while ensuring TfNSW GC21 compliance and a high-performance team culture.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil construction, strong leadership and stakeholder skills, and a relevant Civil Engineering degree. This is a full-time, on-site role with exposure to a pipeline of upcoming infrastructure works.

Lead and manage all aspects of major civil infrastructure projectsvalued between $10M–$25M, from planning and design through to completion.
Develop and oversee project programs, budgets, and resources, ensuring full compliance with TfNSW specificationsand GC21 contract requirements.
Provide strong leadershipto project teams, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
Mentor and guide engineers and site supervisors, building capability within the team and supporting professional development.
Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagementwith TfNSW, councils, subcontractors, and community representatives to achieve successful project outcomes.
Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive strategies to maintain program and cost objectives.
Ensure all works meet WHS, environmental, and quality management standards.
Proven experience delivering projects for Transport for NSW (TfNSW) in a project manager capacity.
Strong track record successfully managing projects under GC21 contract conditions.
Demonstrated success delivering projects valued between $10M–$25M.
Minimum 10 years experience in civil construction
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent planning, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.
High-level communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues effectively.
