Project Managers plan and manage the delivery of projects(Delivery Manager).
Delivery Managerswork in product-focused teams todeliver end-to-end services and to support them in production.
As a Delivery Manager Lead, you will beresponsible forthe delivery of technical projects and services including overseeing thetechnical execution, managing technical teams and ensuring the timely deliveryof the project in alignment with business objectives.
Project Scheduling tools
Monitors and maintains financial records to agreedrequirements for compliance and audit. Assists with identifying and calculatingprocess, service, project and component costs for financial planning andbudgeting. Collates required financial data and reports for analysis and tofacilitate decision-making.
2.Organisational change management: Level 6 (SFIA)
Defines and communicates the approach for change managementfor a significant part of the organisation. Initiates, plans and leadsstrategic, large and complex change management initiatives. Provides guidanceand raises awareness to help change leaders demonstrate effective behaviours todeliver organisational change. Establishes feedback processes and leadsanalyses of change management successes. Enables continual improvements tochange management methodology, tools and training necessary to enhance the maturityacross the organisation.
Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentationand successful completion of complex projects. Adopts and adapts projectmanagement methods and tools. Ensures that effective project monitoring andcontrol processes, change control, risk management and quality processes areemployed and maintained. Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capitalexpenditures against the project budget. Manages the expectations of keyproject stakeholders.
4.Requirements definition and management: Level 5 (SFIA)
Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition andprioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives. Selects, adopts andadapts appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools andtechniques. Contributes to the development of organisational methods andstandards for requirements management. Obtains input from, and agreement torequirements from a diverse range of stakeholders. Negotiates with stakeholdersto manage competing priorities and conflicts. Establishes requirements baselines.Ensures changes to requirements are investigated and managed.
5.Stakeholder relationship management: Level 5 (SFIA)
Identifies the communications and relationship needs ofstakeholder groups. Translates communications/stakeholder engagement strategiesinto specific activities and deliverables. Facilitates open communication anddiscussion between stakeholders. Acts as a single point of contact bydeveloping, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies andplans. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.Facilitates business decision-making processes. Captures and disseminates technicaland business information.
