Job summary

Dynamo Recruitment is partnering with a Federal Government organisation to appoint a Senior Project Manager for a high-profile digital program in Canberra. This hybrid role will drive the delivery of complex digital initiatives across Agile delivery, governance and vendor management.

The position is a 12- month contract with potential extension, requiring a Baseline Security Clearance and extensive experience in digital project management and agile environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience across Agile delivery and digital project management.
• Strong knowledge of digital project management methodologies and Agile product development.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities in complex, fast-moving environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication capability.
• Experience breaking down large, complex problems into clear and actionable delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex digital projects using Agile and established project management methodologies.
• Developing and executing detailed project plans, schedules and delivery activities.
• Managing project scope, change control, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Maintaining strong engagement with project sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Managing project financials, forecasting, reporting and reconciliation.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary technical and business teams.
• Managing third-party vendors and holding suppliers accountable for delivery outcomes.
• Preparing project reports, briefs, governance documentation and executive updates.
• Driving Agile ways of working and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Job description

We are partnering with a Federal Government organisation seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-profile digital program and drive the delivery of complex digital initiatives within a multidisciplinary environment. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to an experienced Project Manager who is confident working across Agile delivery, digital projects, stakeholder engagement, project governance and vendor management.

Canberra, ACT | Hybrid - 3 days onsite

12-month contract + potential 12-month extension

MUST hold a current or reinstatable Baseline Security Clearance'
