Job summary

CyberCX Pty Ltd in Australia seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and drive meaningful cyber projects within Defence, uplift client security, and grow your career with Australia's leading cybersecurity team.

The Senior Project Manager will work with Practices to scale Professional Services, ensure engagements are outcome-focused, and deliver projects on time, within budget and scope while meeting annual targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing large Professional Services or IT project teams.
  • Proven record of successful implementation of complex projects and programs.
  • Project Management Certifications (such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or CAPM/PMP).
  • Advanced skills in MS Project; Established experience with MS Office suite.
  • SDLC understanding and the ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility at all levels.
  • Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner and managing client expectations.
  • Australian Security Clearance (Baseline minimum).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and transition to support multiple complex projects and engagements.
  • Ensure projects deliver stellar client experiences while meeting time, scope and budget requirements.
  • Develop detailed project, program and transition plans, track progress and manage changes in scope, schedule and cost.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensure delivery feasibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including steering-level schedules, plans and reports.
  • Utilise modified delivery processes and tools to meet complex client delivery and reporting requirements when needed.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple project teams and assist with resource scheduling.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks and identify delivery improvements.

About the Role

The SeniorProject Managerwill play a key strategic role in working collaboratively with the Practices to helpCyberCXtransform into an organisation that can scale to deliver significant growth in all Professional Service offerings, positioningCyberCXas Australia’sgreatest force of cyber security professionals.

The SeniorProjectManageris responsible forensuringengagements delivered for clients are outcome focused and remainappropriate fortheir business requirements, including programs of work andsubsequenttransition to support.

The SeniorProjectManageris accountable for meeting their annual targets and KPIs, meeting project milestones and delivering projects on time, to budget and within scope.

What You’ll Do

  • Where necessary and approved, utilise modified delivery processes and tools to meet complex client delivery and reporting requirements
  • Lead and coordinate the activities of multiple project teams, andassistwith resource scheduling
  • Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships and partnerships with clients, stakeholders and third parties/vendors
  • Perform risk management across individual and interdependent projects to minimise project risks ; identifyand recommend delivery and process improvements
What You’ll Bring

Mandatory:

  • At least5+ years’ experience successfully managing largeProfessional Services orIT Project Teams
  • Proven record of successful implementation of complex projects and programs
  • Project Management Certifications (such as PRINCE2® Practitioneror CAPM /PMP)
  • Advanced skills in MS Project ; Established experience withMS Office suite
  • SDLC understandingand the ability to translate technical requirementsto non-technical stakeholders
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility both internally and externally at all levels
  • Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner and managing client expectations in difficult circumstances
  • An Australian Security Clearance(Baseline minimum)
Desirable
  • Experience/exposure with both Defence and corporate/private sector environments
  • Project Management Certifications (AIPM / Reg PM CPPM), Agile SAFE, Scrum Master
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Project Management
  • Experience withPMIS or PSAsoftware
