Job summary

Foundry Talent Partners seeks a Senior Associate in Sydney with extensive project finance experience to structure and execute complex debt transactions across mining, resources, and infrastructure in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

The role covers financial modelling, credit submissions, and leading due diligence while mentoring junior team members. A strong track record and relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 2–7+ years' experience in project finance or energy and infrastructure finance within a bank or consulting / advisory firm.
• Strong track record structuring and managing large, complex debt transactions.
• Strong financial modelling capability; able to build, interrogate and stress-test project models.
• Strong credit writing skills and confidence presenting to credit committees and external stakeholders.
• CFA or postgraduate qualifications well regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and ongoing management of complex project finance debt transactions
• Conduct in-depth financial modelling and cash flow analysis for greenfield and brownfield financings
• Prepare credit submissions, term sheets, information memoranda and financing documentation
• Drive due diligence processes, coordinating legal, technical and insurance advisers
• Mentor and develop junior team members through deal execution
