Rous Water (Rous County Council) – Ballina NSW is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead projects across water supply, flood mitigation and environmental management. You will drive design and construction of asset renewal and new assets, coordinating consultants and contractors within a forward-looking, sustainable program.

The role demands strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in science or engineering.
• Proven technical leadership and project management experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Project manage the design and construction of asset renewal and new asset projects, coordinating consultants and contractors.
• Prepare procurement documentation, including contracts, cost schedules, specifications, quoting and tendering, and evaluation plans.
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of Contractors across work fronts, focusing on safety, environmental, work quality and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Capital Program team.
• Undertake engineering design and documentation for water assets, ensuring designs meet current standards.
