Rous County Council in Ballina is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead projects and drive fit-for-purpose water asset renewal and development.

You will manage design, procurement, and contractor oversight, coordinating with consultants and a Capital Program team to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or engineering and water industry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Project managing the design and construction of asset renewal and new asset projects, including engagement and management of consultants and contractors.
• Complete procurement documentation, including contracts, cost schedules, specifications, quoting and tendering, and evaluation plans for a variety of projects.
• Supervise, monitor and coordinate day-to-day activities of Contractors across work fronts and disciplines, focusing on safety, environmental, work quality and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other colleagues as part of the broader Capital Program team.
• Undertake engineering design and documentation for a variety of water assets, ensuring designs conform to sound engineering principles and current standards.
