Job summary

Delta Group, a leading national contractor, invites applications for Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer roles in its Renewables division based in Gippsland, Victoria. You will help deliver safe, commercial, and timely renewable energy infrastructure projects while collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and client site representatives.

Ideal candidates bring tertiary engineering qualifications, strong communication skills, and hands-on project management experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proven ability to plan, monitor and close out projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Experience with QA inspections, ITPs and safety requirements.
• Ability to work with clients, subcontractors and Delta team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare short-range programs and report weekly on progress.
• Track costs and analyze cost of work methodologies.
• Prepare variations for Project Manager and follow up site instructions.
• Develop QA inspections and ITPs; verify hold points before work.
• Maintain site diaries with photos and record production rates.
• Prepare QSE documents and take 5s.
• Review invoices and vet subcontractor tenders.
• Assist with estimating and tender submissions.
• Produce monthly reports including risk and opportunity register.
• Build relationships with clients and Delta team.
• Support visible leadership program and attend daily pre-starts.
