Job summary

Built is delivering a major data centre project in Sydney and is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team responsible for coordinating technical and operational delivery. You’ll work with project, design, commercial and site teams to ensure work is safe, efficient and to the highest standards.

You will drive coordination to align construction activities with design intent and milestones, manage RFIs and shop drawings, and partner with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical or complex building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, buildability, quality systems and engineering documentation.
• Confident working with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Well-developed planning, communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Genuine desire to learn, contribute and grow within a high-performing project team.

Take the next step in your engineering career on one of Sydney's most significant data centre projects. At Built, you'll play a key role in delivering complex, technically challenging work while being supported by experienced project leaders who will help you grow into a senior engineering position.

The Opportunity

As a Project Engineer, you'll be part of the team delivering our major data centre project at Marsden Park. Working closely with project, design, commercial and site teams, you'll help coordinate the technical and operational aspects of delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

In this role you will:

• Drive engineering coordination to ensure construction activities align with design intent, program objectives and project milestones
• Manage technical documentation, RFIs, shop drawings and approvals to keep work fronts progressing
• Partner with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve design and construction challenges
