Built is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of complex commercial construction projects on the New Mandurah Hospital site, south of Perth. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, time and budget targets are met.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering some of our most complex commercial construction projects. This role is based on our New Mandurah Hospital project, located south of the river, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a significant healthcare development for the Peel region.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you'll provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the technical delivery of projects from design coordination and procurement through to construction and project close out.
• Drive innovative engineering and value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes while managing risk.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve complex design and construction challenges.
• Support programme and budget performance by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and project delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Site Engineers, building capability within the team and fostering a collaborative project culture.

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys leading others to achieve outstanding results. You'll combine strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across project teams and stakeholders.

You Will Bring

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering high-value commercial construction projects and managing complex design and construction interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design management, procurement processes and contract administration.
• Proven leadership capability with experience mentoring engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
