Job summary

Heat and Control is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical aspects of large capital food processing equipment projects. You will head teams of 1–5 engineers, coordinate with sales, project management and service, and ensure equipment meets customer expectations.

You will review specifications, organize risk assessments, and supervise design and fabrication across in-house shops. Extensive travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree required.
• 10–15 years’ experience leading projects in Food/Diary/FMCG sectors.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and determine project scope.
• Lead peer review meetings to generate and review risk assessments.
• Size mechanical and powertrain components and heat transfer features.
• Oversee 3D modeling in Inventor and drafting in AutoCAD 2D.
• Monitor schedules and support fabrication and commissioning.
