Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited invites a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our Brisbane CBD office. You will drive major capital projects from concept to commissioning, coordinating with operations, contractors and consultants to ensure safe, reliable electrical solutions.

The role requires a strong background in mining or heavy industry, with multi-disciplinary teams and governance experience. Expect site visits and close collaboration across our operating sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical engineering or trade qualification is required.
• Experience delivering major capital and sustaining projects in mining/resources/heavy industry.

Responsibilities

The Nitty Gritty

As one of our Senior Project Engineers come join our leading operation and play a key role in delivering capital projects that drive performance, reliability, and growth.

Based out of our modern and friendly Brisbane corporate office, with site visits required, you'll be supporting projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with operations, contractors, and consultants to deliver safe, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.

You'll drive project performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk, ensuring every project creates lasting value for our operations.

With a strong background in mining, resources, or heavy industry to lead projects from concept through to commissioning, you'll bring technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across all phases of project delivery.

What you Bring:

• Degree in Electrical engineering or Trade qualified.
• Proven experience delivering major and sustaining capital projects within mining, resources, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong technical capability across engineering design, electrical infrastructure, equipment selection, commissioning, and operational handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and OEMs while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Sound understanding of project governance, risk management, contractual obligations, and industry compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Current unrestricted C Class driver's licence - with the ability and willingness to travel to our various work sites/locations as required.
