Job summary

Ramelius Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Civil & NPI to lead earthworks, roadworks, and non-process infrastructure for the Rebecca-Roe project in Western Australia. You will guide design through to construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, budget and schedule compliance.

The role requires civil engineering expertise, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to problem solving within a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering earthworks and roadworks in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, foundations and services design.
• Experience managing design through construction and handover.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of earthworks, roadworks and non-process infrastructure project scopes from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Define project requirements, scopes of work and technical deliverables.
• Manage engineering design to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives.
• Coordinate interfaces with structural, mechanical and processing teams.
• Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor management.
• Resolve technical issues and manage engineering changes during project execution.
• Coordinate and support site construction and commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance to achieve project objectives.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication across project teams.

The Rebecca-Roe Gold Project is one of Ramelius Resources' flagship growth projects, involving the construction of a major greenfield mining and 3.25Mtpa processing operation that will establish a long-life, standalone gold production hub in Western Australia's Goldfields. The project will transform our operating footprint and form a key part of Ramelius' pathway to becoming a 500,000-ounce-per-year gold producer.

The Role

As the Senior Project Engineer - Civil & NPI, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of earthworks, roadworks and non-processing infrastructure projects for the Rebecca-Roe project. Working across the full project lifecycle, you will provide technical leadership from initial scoping studies, design oversight through to supporting construction, commissioning and operational handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

About You

You are a motivated and technically capable Civil Engineer with experience delivering a wide range of civil projects across mining, resources, industrial, or infrastructure projects. You bring strong project engineering skills, a collaborative approach to stakeholder management, and a commitment to safe and successful project delivery.

You Bring

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline


• Experience delivering earthworks, roads, village and other infrastructure projects in mining, resources, energy or heavy industry.


• Strong understanding of earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations and services design


• Experience supporting projects through design, construction, commissioning and operational handover


• Strong contractor and consultant management skills


• Solid grasp of construction quality, safety and compliance requirements


• Sound understanding of project controls, including scope, schedule and cost management


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


• A proactive approach to problem solving and technical issue resolution.


• A strong commitment to safety, risk management and continuous improvement.
