Through engineering innovation, collaborative contracting and leading sustainability practices we're unlocking opportunities for a better tomorrow.

DT Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team on the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), supporting the delivery of the Ormeau Rail Facility.

Delivered in partnership with Downer, this major project involves the design and construction of a 66-hectare purpose-built maintenance and stabling facility to support Queensland's next generation passenger train fleet.

You will play a key role in delivering civil works (self-performed), including internal road networks, pavements, kerb, subsoil drainage and asphalt across the site. This is a hands‑on role responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day engineering activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will drive construction planning, oversee QA and compliance, and provide technical leadership across site operations on a large‑scale, complex rail infrastructure project.

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver civil engineering and construction activities in line with program, budget and quality requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes including ITPs, lot management, NCRs and RFIs.
  • Interpret designs for construction and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Prepare progress reporting and support commercial activities including variations and claims.
