Want to take your construction quality experience into one of Australia's fastest-growing infrastructure sectors?

DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Quality Advisor to join our team delivering the Smoky Creek Solar Farm near Westwood, Queensland.

Working FIFO from Brisbane on a 2:1 roster, with full camp accommodation provided, you'll provide day-to-day quality support across the project's piling and mechanical installation activities. Working closely with the Quality Manager, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors, you'll help ensure construction works meet project specifications, quality requirements and completion standards.

This is a hands-on site role covering the full quality lifecycle - from ITPs, inspections and construction documentation through to NCR management, defect rectification and final completion records. You'll also have the opportunity to coach delivery teams, improve quality processes and contribute directly to the successful handover of a major renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the project Quality Management System across piling and mechanical installation works
  • Review ITPs, checklists, construction lots and quality documentation while coordinating Hold and Witness Point inspections
  • Manage NCRs, defects and corrective actions, working with project teams and subcontractors to identify root causes and achieve effective close-out
  • Monitor subcontractor quality performance and provide practical guidance and coaching to supervision and delivery teams
  • Support construction completion, including as-built documentation, quality records, defect rectification and final handover requirements
  • Undertake quality assurance checks, reporting and construction walks to identify rework, outstanding works and opportunities for improvement
About You
  • Relevant trade background or equivalent industry experience, with previous experience in construction quality and project completion
  • Minimum 2 years' experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems within a construction environment
  • Experience developing and reviewing ITPs, ITP checklists, construction quality documentation and as-built records
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, with experience across piling and/or mechanical installation highly regarded
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to coach teams and build effective relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Construction White Card and current driver's licence, with previous renewable energy experience highly regarded
