Job summary

ASC is Australia’s submarine company, delivering life extension and sustainment for the Royal Australian Navy. The Senior Project Cost Analyst/Controller role focuses on cost control, forecasting and EVM across a major maintenance availability within a complex defence program.

You will partner with PMs, CAMs and stakeholders to provide accurate analysis and recommendations that drive performance and successful delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in project cost control and earned value management within complex environments.
• Strong forecasting and variance analysis capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills for data interpretation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost control, forecasting and EVM for a major maintenance availability.
• Prepare and maintain EVM and project performance reports with insightful analysis.
• Analyse project data to identify trends, variances and risks and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with PMs, CAMs and stakeholders to provide trusted cost and schedule advice.
• Aggregate cost, progress and forecast data from multiple systems to ensure reporting integrity.
• Promote best-practice in EVM and change management across the project.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and data quality.
