Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd. is Australia’s submarine company, delivering life extension work and government-backed sustainment programs. The Project Cost Analyst/Controller role supports cost control, forecasting, EVM and performance reporting on a major maintenance project to improve delivery outcomes and value for money.

You will partner with PMs and CAMs, analyse data across systems, and provide trusted advice on cost and schedule while helping drive continuous improvement and best-practice reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in project controls, cost control or delivery environments.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and AS4817:2006 familiarity.
• Strong Excel skills to analyse complex project data.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of project cost control, forecasting and Earned Value Management (EVM) activities for a major maintenance availability.
• Prepare and maintain EVM and project performance reports, providing meaningful analysis and insights on cost, schedule and forecast performance.
• Analyse project data, identify emerging trends, variances and risks, and support the development of corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Project Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs) and other stakeholders to provide trusted advice on cost, schedule and project performance.
• Gather, validate and analyse cost, progress and forecast information from multiple business systems to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project controls reporting.
• Promote project controls best practice by supporting the effective application of EVM processes, baseline change management and performance measurement frameworks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting, data quality, project controls processes and stakeholder decision-making.
