Job summary

Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD on the Gold Coast is seeking a Principal Advisor (Project Controls) to lead the controls function for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project. You will work closely with commercial, finance, governance and leadership teams to critically analyse contractor performance and drive improvements.

The role focuses on integrated analysis of schedule, cost, risk, change and quality, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting to

Qualifications

Experience in project controls and governance reporting.
Ability to analyse schedule, cost, risk, change and quality performance.
Strong stakeholder engagement with senior project leaders.

Responsibilities

Deliver integrated analysis of schedule, cost, risk, change and quality performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Coordinate and quality assure timely reports, forecasts, governance submissions and supporting materials for senior leaders.
Deliver project budget management and cost control activities, including budgeting, scheduling, forecasting and earned value analysis.
Lead development and continual improvement of project controls plans, processes and tools across governance, reporting, schedule, cost, risk and change management.
