Job summary

Energy Power Systems Australia is seeking a Senior Project Controller to strengthen financial and commercial controls across a broad project portfolio. The role sits in the Project Management Office, focusing on accurate forecasting, accruals, revenue recognition and complex commercial analysis.

Based at our Mulgrave HQ with hybrid working, you will support project managers and stakeholders across Australia, providing senior guidance and practical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, project finance or commercial administration.
• Strong project accounting knowledge: budgets, forecasts, accruals, revenue recognition and cost performance.
• Experience supporting contract administration: progress claims, invoices, payment schedules, variations.
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile information and resolve complex issues.
• Experience using ERP, project cost-control or financial management software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project budgets, WBS, forecasts, accruals and cost-control data.
• Prepare accurate project financial reporting, including budget tracking and cost-performance analyses.
• Coordinate progress claims, payment schedules, invoicing and variations.
• Reconcile information across project and ERP systems; support sound commercial outcomes.
• Develop dashboards and reports covering project financials, schedule and risk.
