Job summary

Core Talent in Perth is seeking an experienced Project Architect to take ownership of the technical delivery of commercial projects. This brand-new role is designed to strengthen the firm’s technical capability and support its next phase of growth, working directly with the Operations & Construction Director to raise documentation standards and processes.

Qualifications

7–10+ years of post-graduate architectural experience.
Role requires a Bachelor or Master of Architecture.
Experience delivering commercial architecture, commercial interiors or fitout projects.
Advanced AutoCAD capability.

Responsibilities

Leading design development, technical documentation and delivery across commercial projects.
Producing and overseeing high-quality AutoCAD documentation, technical detailing, schedules and drawing packages.
Coordinating building surveyors, services engineers, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
Reviewing documentation to identify clashes, compliance gaps and buildability issues before they reach site.
Working closely with Project Managers and construction teams to resolve RFIs, shop drawings, technical queries and site issues.
Maintaining design intent while balancing budget, programme, compliance and practical construction requirements.
Supporting the technical capability of the existing design team and helping establish consistent documentation standards.
Working alongside the Operations & Construction Director during your first six months to review and improve drawing standards, documentation processes and quality controls.
