Job summary

Bespoke Careers partner with a Melbourne architecture practice to appoint a Senior Project Architect for Education Projects. This hands‑on role leads education projects from concept through Contract Administration, combining design leadership with practical delivery.

You will work closely with the Director, clients and consultants to maintain strong relationships, drive technical development, and shape design direction across all stages.

Qualifications

• Min 10yrs professional experience with proven education sector projects.
• Full lifecycle experience from concept to construction and CA.
• Confident communicator with Directors, clients, consultants and contractors.
• Strong technical and documentation capabilities; Revit experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead education projects across VSBA, tertiary, independent and Catholic sectors from concept through to Contract Administration.
• Take ownership of project delivery, coordinating consultants, documentation, programs and construction requirements.
• Work closely with the Director, clients and contractors to maintain strong relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide design leadership while overseeing technical development, documentation and delivery across all project stages.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice through high-quality project delivery and client engagement.

Senior Project Architect - Education Projects

This established and growing architecture practice offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team with a strong pipeline of education projects across Victoria. They are seeking a Senior Project Architect with proven education sector experience who can confidently manage projects through the full lifecycle, from early concept and design through to Contract Administration. Working closely with the Director, clients and contractors, this is a hands‑on role suited to an architect who enjoys both design leadership and project delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead education projects across VSBA, tertiary, independent and Catholic sectors from concept through to Contract Administration

Skills & Experience

• Min 10yrs professional experience with proven experience delivering architecture projects within the education sector is essential
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, with demonstrated experience through to construction and Contract Administration
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with Directors, clients, consultants and contractors
• Strong technical and documentation capabilities, with Revit experience highly regarded
• Senior-level architect with the initiative, ownership and commercial awareness to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
