Job summary

Arcos Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Project Administrator with 5+ years' experience in the construction industry to join our Construction team in a full-time role.

Working closely with our Construction Lead, project managers, engineers and site inspectors, you will support contract administration, document control and construction-phase services to keep programs on track and ensure quality and compliance across civil and structural projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a project administration or coordination role within the construction industry.
• Experience within a consultancy or contract administration environment is highly regarded.
• Working knowledge of progress claims, payment certificates, variations and document control.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
• Effective communication skills and a professional approach.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation and document control, including drawings, RFIs, transmittals, registers and correspondence.
• Support the Construction Lead and project managers with the processing of progress claims, payment certificates, variations and extension of time claims, ensuring contractual timeframes are met.
• Prepare and issue contract correspondence, including Superintendent's directions, notices and certificates, for review and sign-off.
• Maintain records of site inspections, hold point releases, ITP and QA submissions, and non-conformances reports through to close out.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and client progress reports, and coordinate close-out documentation including practical completion, defects and as-constructed records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, stakeholders and consultants.
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and project outcomes.
