Phillip Riley in Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team, covering multiple Australian entities in a growing renewable energy portfolio. You’ll own monthly reporting, statutory statements, and support audits, working across projects and group finance.

The role requires strong AASB/IFRS knowledge, multi-entity experience, and excellent collaboration with local teams. Big 4 or mid-tier audit exposure is valued; renewable energy experience is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Own monthly management accounts and financial reporting across Australian entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under AASB/IFRS.
• Manage external audit from planning to completion.
• Provide technical accounting support: revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, intercompany.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Support tax and compliance: BAS/GST and transfer pricing.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Work across renewable energy development, operating assets and project entities.
• Partner with local teams and Group Finance internationally.

An established global renewable energy IPP is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Australian finance team.

• Broad Role Across a Growing Project Portfolio

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this is a broad financial accounting role working across a portfolio of renewable energy projects and entities. You’ll take ownership of financial and statutory reporting, manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting support across the Australian business.

The role

• Own monthly management accounts and financial reporting across multiple Australian entities
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB/IFRS
• Manage the annual external audit process from planning through to completion
• Provide technical accounting support across areas including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments and intercompany transactions
• Manage month-end processes, reconciliations and internal controls
• Support tax and compliance requirements including BAS/GST and transfer pricing
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Work across renewable energy development, operating assets and project entities
• Partner with local teams and Group Finance internationally

About you You’ll be a technically strong accountant who enjoys being hands-on and working across a complex, multi-entity environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:
