Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety Victoria is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead the Aboriginal Community Justice Panel Professionalisation Pilot. You will manage contract, grant and tender processes, and coordinate across Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton sites to build capacity and sustainability of ACJP partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal community.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal community.
• Experience in project and program management, including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based advisory capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the ACJP volunteer service and support pilot development.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of the Pilot ensuring alignment with objectives and funding.
• Develop tools, resources and guidance for pilot delivery and risk management.
