Job summary

Advance Thinking is partnering with a leading general insurance organisation to identify a Senior Program Manager for a major global transformation, based in Sydney with an ASAP start. You will represent AUSPAC, shape the regional strategy, roadmap and delivery approach, and work across insurance, underwriting, business and technology to align regional needs with the global program.

Qualifications

• Significant general insurance experience is required.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise transformations.
• Cross-functional collaboration across business and technology with regional/global scope.
• Underwriting transformation experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Experience with governance, risk management and executive reporting is preferred.

Advance Thinking is partnering with a leading general insurance organisation to identify an experienced Senior Program Manager for a major global transformation program.
This is a senior AUSPAC role working across insurance, underwriting, business and technology, representing regional requirements within a broader global program and helping shape the local transformation roadmap.
The program is currently in its early stages, providing an opportunity to help shape the approach, establish the delivery model and support the transition into execution.

What you’ll be doing:

• Represent AUSPAC within a major global insurance transformation.
• Shape the regional strategy, roadmap and delivery approach.
• Work closely with senior underwriting, business, operations and technology stakeholders.
• Navigate global and regional priorities and dependencies.
• Establish strong governance, risk management and executive reporting.
• Work closely with delivery partners and help shape the future delivery team.
• Drive measurable business and operational outcomes through technology, data, automation and process improvement.
• Support the modernisation of underwriting processes and capabilities.

What we’re looking for:

• Significant general insurance experience.
• Senior Program Manager / Program Lead experience delivering complex enterprise transformation.
• Good understanding of insurance products, policy and underwriting environments.
• Experience operating across both business and technology.
• Experience within global or multi-region transformation programs.
• Strong executive stakeholder and vendor/delivery partner management.
• Excellent communication and the ability to provide clear, concise recommendations to senior executives.
• Underwriting transformation experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Guidewire, insurance platform, data, cloud or modernisation experience would be advantageous.
