Job summary

Grampians Health is seeking a Senior Program Manager - Delivery to lead a portfolio of capital infrastructure projects across our sites. Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, you will oversee delivery from procurement through commissioning and handover, mentoring delivery staff along the way.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage procurement, contract administration and governance, and liaise with funding bodies and regulators to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex capital infrastructure programs and projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholder groups.
• Strong commercial, procurement and contract management experience.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Healthcare infrastructure or large public sector capital programs experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a portfolio of capital infrastructure projects within scope, budget, quality and program objectives.
• Provide leadership to Project Managers, Project Officers and delivery staff.
• Oversee procurement, consultant engagement, contract administration and governance activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, funding bodies and regulators.
• Monitor risks, financial performance and resource needs across the portfolio.
• Prepare reports, business cases, executive briefings and governance documentation.

About The Role

Grampians Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager - Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital infrastructure projects across the organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of major capital projects from procurement through to commissioning and handover, while providing leadership, mentorship and professional support to project delivery staff. The successful applicant will play a critical part in managing the growing Capital Projects portfolio, including major health infrastructure investments, grant-funded projects, compliance initiatives and strategic infrastructure programs across Grampians Health sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a portfolio of capital infrastructure projects, ensuring achievement of scope, budget, quality and program objectives.
• Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers, Project Officers and project support resources within the delivery stream.
• Manage procurement, consultant engagement, contract administration and project governance activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, funding bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor project risks, opportunities, financial performance and resource requirements across the portfolio.
• Prepare high-quality reports, business cases, Executive briefings and governance documentation.

Skills & Experience
