Nova Partners Executive Search & Selection in Canberra seeks a Program Manager – Civil & Utility Infrastructure to lead a team of Project Managers across multiple projects with a ~$60m portfolio. You will own planning, resourcing, budgets and forecasting, while managing key client contracts and risk.

The role demands a civil or electrical engineering degree, a proven track record in civil/utility delivery, and strong commercial discipline in contracts and cost control.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or electrical engineering.
• Proven track record delivering civil or utility infrastructure programs.
• Commercial strength in contracts, estimating, forecasting and cost control.
• Ability to coach PMs and build trusted client relationships.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five Project Managers across about a dozen concurrent projects worth ~60m.
• Own program planning, resourcing, budgets, monthly forecasting, WIP, claims and EBIT.
• Manage upstream client contract and set contract controls for PMs.
• Report program performance to the client and act as senior escalation point.
• Manage risk around network reliability, delivery and resourcing.
