Job summary

WorldSkills Queensland is seeking a Senior Consultant (Program Delivery) to coordinate competitions, career pathway programs and industry initiatives across Queensland. You will lead planning, coordination and delivery, manage projects, budgets, events and stakeholder relationships to drive outcomes for participants, sponsors and industry partners.

Based at Acacia Ridge with temporary full-time status until 25 January 2027, this role requires travel and occasional weekend work to support events

Qualifications

Mandatory: Project management experience.
Desirable: possession of a training, trade and/or industry-related background.

Responsibilities

Provide high level project management to WorldSkills Queensland programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with funding arrangements.
Facilitate and participate in delivery through liaison with stakeholders, issue resolution, venue research and ensuring program support including sponsorship and marketing.
Manage program budgets, including planning cycles, allocating resources, and reporting on financial performance.
Prepare reports, submissions, briefings, event plans and schedules.
Develop and maintain networks with industry groups, TAFE Queensland, government departments, RTOs and sponsors.
Develop, implement and maintain processes to monitor and review program effectiveness for continuous improvement.
