Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a P4 Principal Product Support Specialist to lead design, development and maintenance of Support System solutions for BDA programs, focusing on Integrated Logistics Support. The role reports to the BCS Product Support Development manager within the Battlespace Communications Systems Enterprise.

The successful candidate will become an Integrated Logistics Support Lead for a BCS Program, coordinating ILS solutions for ASDEFCON Acquisition programs and providing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in complex Integrated Logistics Support or Support System environments.
• Formal qualifications or significant demonstrated experience leading logistics/support systems analysis for ASDEFCON Acquisition programs.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to guide multiple technical teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders and customers.
• Experience estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of ILS work scope.
• Experience with IL S standards such as MIL-STD-1388/DEF(AUST)5691/5692/GEIA-STD-0007C is desirable.
• Eligibility for AGSVA Defence Security Clearance and Australian Citizenship.
• Role based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Define Support System requirements, costs, technical objectives, SOWs, schedules, and integration plans.
• Develop and review Integrated Logistics Support program plans.
• Oversee implementation of IPS elements to meet readiness objectives.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineers, IPTs and Program Managers to align Mission System Design with Support System.
• Identify and implement Support System tools to improve performance.
• Mentor and train IPS team members and drive quality improvements.
