Job summary

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is seeking a strategic Product Leader to own a critical portfolio, shape multi-year roadmaps, and drive customer outcomes across branch, mobile, phone and digital channels.

Reporting to the General Manager Products & Analysis, you will lead pricing strategy, lifecycle governance, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring a high-performing team in a hybrid, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing, embedding, and executing product roadmaps and pricing models within financial services.
• Strong financial literacy with portfolio P&Ls, margins, pricing elasticity, and KPIs.
• Hands-on product delivery, translating needs into features and managing agile backlogs.
• Excellent communication to influence senior executives and multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Define customer-centric multi-year roadmaps aligned with enterprise pillars.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Manage from conceptualisation to go-to-market and ongoing optimization.
• Performance, Pricing & Portfolio Economics: Own pricing structures and drive profitability and growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Distribution, Marketing, Digital Channels, Transformation and frontline teams.
• Technical & Backlog Prioritisation: Translate needs into specs, manage backlogs, write user stories, guide trade-offs.
• Proactive Risk & Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical market practices.
• Team Leadership & Capability: Mentor the Product team and foster continuous improvement.
