ARB Corporation seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the development of adventure and outdoor living products from concept to production. Based at Kilsyth, the role drives major programs, ensures quality and performance, and mentors engineers within a global manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Product Management to deliver industry-leading solutions across outdoor living contexts.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified engineer with 8-15 years' experience in product development across outdoor living, habitation, consumer, automotive or similar engineered product environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex products from concept through to production.
• Advanced understanding of mechanical systems, structures, mechanisms, materials and validation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), risk assessment and engineering best practice.
• Experience interpreting test data, resolving complex engineering challenges and balancing technical trade-offs to achieve optimal product outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability leading technical projects, collaborating with stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing and sustaining engineering processes.
• Strong communication skills with experience mentoring and developing engineers.
• Experience within automotive, recreational vehicle (RV), outdoor living, consumer products or related industries will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own major engineering programs and ensure functionality, durability, reliability and safety targets are met.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Product Development Engineer to join our Exterior Team.

Role Overview:

In this senior engineering role, you will lead the development of innovative adventure, touring, habitation and outdoor living products that extend vehicle capability beyond transportation. Working across the full product development lifecycle, you will take ownership of major engineering programs from concept through to production release, ensuring products meet customer expectations for functionality, durability, reliability, safety and performance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Product Management while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence across the business.
