Job summary

MESHKI is seeking an experienced professional to lead end-to-end product development and buying, driving category strategies and cohesive collections across design, buying and merchandising. This role will mentor buyers and BAAs while collaborating with design, production and merch planning to deliver ranges that launch on time and meet brand standards.

You will oversee multiple categories, manage supplier relationships, and apply data-driven decisions to optimize margins and customer appeal in

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a buying or product development role within fashion retail, managing full collections end-to-end.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance trend direction, margin targets and customer insights.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills with a track record of cost efficiencies.
• Expertise in range planning, OTB alignment and category ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage ranges from concept through to bulk approval, ensuring alignment with brand vision and commercial strategy.
• Oversee all product timelines from proto to production handover, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Take ownership of all product categories to balance styles, fabrics and price points.
• Deliver on margin targets and manage pricing architecture in line with the brand.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity to inform innovative, commercially successful ranges.
• Collaborate with Design, Production and Merch Planning to deliver cohesive ranges on time for key moments across Australia, USA & UK/Europe.
• Mentor Buyers/BAAs to foster a high-performance Product Development team.
