Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the CommSee team. This hands-on design role is embedded in a cross-functional squad, working with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to understand problems, explore opportunities and deliver outcomes that improve customer experiences and commercial performance.

You will lead design from discovery through to delivery, balancing strategic thinking with practical execution in an environment that embraces ambiguity and new tools,

Qualifications

Experience delivering end-to-end product design in cross-functional teams.
Strong discovery and problem framing skills.
Fluency with AI-enabled design workflows or ability to adopt new tools.
Learning mindset and adaptability to evolving tech and methods.
Experience with user research synthesis (qual/quant).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design from discovery to delivery in a complex environment.
Partner with product and engineering to frame problems and define outcomes.
Conduct discovery activities: user research, interviews, testing, data-informed exploration.
Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes and high-quality UI.
Iterate designs based on feedback, balancing user needs with business goals.
