Job summary

NetComm Wireless Limited is seeking a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to ensure products meet all regulatory and carrier certifications before mass production and throughout the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external labs to test products to applicable standards and deploy in target markets, ensuring cost-effective, compliant solutions globally.

Qualifications

• Experience testing electronics compliance.
• Hands-on EMC, Safety, Wireless & RF testing.
• Knowledge of FCC, ACMA, CE, RoHS, WEEE.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in fast-paced cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead product compliance activities across portfolios.
• Define, review and scrutinize certification requirements.
• Research compliance for new markets, technology and/or trade compliance.
• Plan, schedule, negotiate with external test vendors.
• Prepare documentation required for certification labs.
• Conduct hands on hardware/software testing and debug of issues.
• Ensure timely reporting of progress to project teams.
• Undertake all compliance activities in a cost-effective manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with testing vendors.
• Review, verify, document external lab reports to ensure completion of tasks.
• Monitor regulatory and product changes, maintain compliance throughout lifecycle.

Job description

As our Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will ensure that our products obtain all required regulatory compliance and/or carrier certifications before the release to mass production and for the life of the product in case of any changes to regulatory requirement or target market.

What You’ll Do

As Senior Product Compliance Engineer, you will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external certified labs to ensure products are fully tested to all applicable standards and are fully compliant for deployment in the target market.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in Electronics products compliance testing.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Safety, Wireless & Radio Frequency (RF).
• Strong knowledge in industry standards, regulatory requirements for electronics products.
• Solid understanding in Regional Compliance requirements for Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), CE, Global Certification Forum (GCF), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the commitment to follow tasks through to successful completion.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset to focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence at scale.
