Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment is assisting with an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management and commercial outcomes within a highly regulated financial services environment in Australia.

This 14-week contract offers hybrid work in Sydney with the chance to influence key commercial decisions, lead an capable team, and contribute to the ongoing development of procurement governance and supplier risk management in line with CPS230.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial management.
• CPS230 supplier risk management, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance within financial services.
• Experience leading RFx activities, complex contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive commercial value while balancing governance and risk obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFx processes, strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement projects.
• Drive supplier selection, contract negotiations and commercial outcomes.
• Develop sourcing strategies and category plans aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders on business cases, procurement strategies and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure effective procurement governance, supplier risk management and compliance with outsourcing obligations.
• Deliver cost savings, supplier value-add and process improvements.
